UPDATE ON GENERAL FUND REFERENDUM |

Click here for a summary of Tuesday night's Community Forum. At the conclusion of the meeting, the board asked the community to respond to a straw poll. The poll results showed 93 yes, 61 no, and 42 undecided.
At its Wednesday night meeting, the Eastern Hancock School Board voted to proceed with the general fund referendum process. The ballot question will be approved by the County Council on February 10 and voters in the school district will have the opportunity to vote on the referendum in the May 4 primary.
